Geo Bee
Students in 4th grade through 8th grade are eligible to participate in the National Geographic Bee. The contest is designed to encourage the teaching of geography in the school curriculum, spark student interest in the subject, and increase public awareness of geography. The winner of the local Bee continues to the next level of the competition.
Education Fair
This is a great night for students to show what they have been doing all year such as: Science Projects, Art Projects, Drawings, Paintings, History Project, Written Reports, Creative Writing, Math, Bible Projects and Computer Projects! Grandparents, extended family and the community at large are welcome to attend.
Biography Day
Students come dressed as a famous personality or historical figure without telling their identity to the audience. The student will speak extemporaneously about their life (in five minutes or less) and the audience will try to guess who is being portrayed. This is a wonderful opportunity for the children to have a chance to practice speaking in public.
Guest Speakers
We bring in speakers at various times throughout the year to present information relevant to homeschooling families.
Field Trips
Field trips are planned to locations throughout the area and geared towards the interest levels of various age groups.
